A earthquake of magnitude 5.6 was recorded this Sunday morning southeast of Imías, Guantánamo province.
According to the station network of the National Seismological Service of Cuba, the earthquake occurred at 7:00 am, local time, at coordinates 20.16 degrees north latitude and 74.44 degrees west longitude, at a depth of 7.1 km.
Reports of perceptibility had been received in towns in the provinces of Guantánamo, Santiago de Cuba and Granma, as reported on his social networks by the head of seismological services, Enrique Diego Arango Arias.
Until the closing of the note, there were no reports of human or material damage.
