This Sunday (8), the TV Brasil broadcasts the biggest classic in the North of Brazil, Re-Pa. The match between Paysandu and Remo, valid for the fourth round of the 2026 Paraense Championship, will be aired throughout the country with a signal generated by the broadcaster TV Cultura do Pará, a partner of the National Public Communication Network (RNCP).
The broadcaster’s sports day starts at 4:50 pm, preparing the audience for the ball rolling that takes place at 5 pm, directly from the Estádio Estadual Jornalista Edgar Proença, Mangueirão, in Belém (PA). Paysandu receives pressure from Clube do Remo.
While Leão arrives as the undefeated leader of the competition, Papão seeks rehabilitation after the defeat against Tuna Luso in the last round.
About the Paraense Championship
The championship is made up of 12 teams divided into two groups, in which teams from one group face those from the other in a single round, on a points system. The classification is counted in a general table, from which the best eight advance to the next phase, while the last two are relegated. If there is a tie in the score during this stage, the tiebreaker follows the order of most wins, goal difference, goals scored, fewest red cards, fewest yellow cards and, finally, draw.
The quarter-finals and semi-finals are decided in single games, with a penalty shootout in case of a draw in normal time. The final is the only stage played in round-trip matches, in which the title is defined by the goal difference in the two clashes or, if necessary, by maximum penalties.
The teams Remo, Paysandu, Tuna Luso, Águia de Marabá, Bragantino-PA, Cametá, Capitão Poço, Castanhal, Santa Rosa, São Francisco-PA, São Raimundo-PA and Amazônia Independente participate in the 2026 edition of the Paraense Championship.
