Next Monday the 9th begins the application of evaluation exams to the judges and magistrates elected in June of last year.

The process ranges from the application of knowledge and results regarding the resolution of cases, as well as the reduction of files to assess their performance. This evaluation will be carried out by the Judicial Disciplinary Court and the content of the test was prepared by the Judicial Performance Body.

The evaluation process will consist of a theoretical-practical exam, which will be applied starting at 10:00 a.m., and will be for justice providers who, to date, have been in office for just over 4 months since they began their work on September 17 of last year, once they were appointed to their respective jurisdictional bodies by the Judicial Administration Body (OAJ).

In the cases of judges and magistrates who were in office prior to the electoral process on June 1, they will be carried out, as well as the secretaries of agreements and actuaries, with a regular follow-up evaluation and a visit that can be in person or digital.

The test was prepared by the Judicial Performance Evaluation Body and its content will be kept secure to avoid leaks that unduly benefit friends of those who had access to the information.

In the event that any of the elected judges or magistrates may not achieve passing grades, it will serve to detect training requirements, and in addition to serving as a basis for the new courses that are taught, they will be given a second opportunity to apply the exam.
