The collapse of the platform of the alternate highway towards Vitoc, in the province of Chanchamayo was the cause of a dump truck overturning near the Sincayacu route, leaving one person dead.
According to the first reports, the excess humidity and the instability of the terrain caused the road to suddenly give way while the heavy vehicle was traveling through the section, exiting through Antaloma towards San Ramón, causing the unit to end up off the road.
Authorities arrived at the scene to carry out the corresponding procedures and evaluate the conditions of the road, which would not be suitable for truck traffic.
