Boys, girls and young people between the ages of 8 and 14 will be able to explore in a healthy and creative environment, science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) activities while interacting with peers and mentors, all this in the Rincón Clubhouse, inaugurated this Friday by the National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (SENACYT), through a cooperation agreement with the Foundation for the Integral Development of Women and the Family (FUNDADER).
This project will be located in the district of Vista Alegre, and is aimed at children and youth residing in communities of Vacamonte and schools in the area with few opportunities and who are in a situation of social risk.
Inside the Clubhouse Corner, these children will be able to learn about logic, spatial perception, programming, applied mathematics and it has high-end equipment such as cameras, graphic tablets, computers capable of using 3D software and professional graphic design, 3D printers, circuits electronics, robotics and Internet of things equipment, among others.
