
Agricultural producer Ricardo González, 65 years old, was murdered in Guárico after being reported missing since February 1. That day he was at his farm located in El Alto, in the La Cruz sector of Las Mercedes del Llano.
His body was found on Thursday morning on the Chaguaramas-Memo national highway, Samancito sector, with three shots in different parts of the body, reviewed the digital medium Notiguárico.
People passing through the area notified the authorities.
A commission from the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps carried out the removal of the body and began the corresponding investigations.
They demanded a ransom of $200,000
Unofficially it was known that Ricardo González would have been kidnapped by an armed group demanding a ransom of $200,000.
The first reports attribute the crime to the gang of Manuel Mandarina, cell of the Llano Train that operates in the region and that he is dedicated to extorting agricultural producers.
