Within the framework of this agenda, the leader visited the department of Colonia and toured the Cadis facilities, the community wake rooms and the Narbona Chapel in Nueva Palmira.
During the visit to Cadis, Tierno recalled that in December the MTOP signed several social agreements in Dolores corresponding to the department of Soriano and the agreement with Cadis Palmira (Colonia), for 1,800,000 pesos, intended for the construction of changing rooms and bathrooms for the institution’s heated pool.
“When we signed the agreement in December, I committed to visiting Cadis, because it is important to get to know the institutions with which we work closely,” he expressed in dialogue with EL ECO.

Regarding the Social Agreements Program, Tierno explained that in December the MTOP signed 26 agreements throughout the country. In addition, he announced that in March 13 more agreements will be signed in the department of Colonia and between 7 and 8 in Soriano.
At the national level, the MTOP plans to reach a total of 100 social agreements during 2026. Among the initiatives that could be integrated into the plan are the comprehensive reconstruction of Leolandia Park, promoted by the Palmira Lions Club; the second stage of the community wake rooms; and improvements to the room and the Narbona Chapel, planned for the end of this year or the beginning of 2027.
