The National Election Jury (JNE) has confirmed that the Fuerza Popular congressman Alejandro Aguinaga violated the principle of neutralitywithin the framework of the Elections 2026.
As recalled, on November 13, the aforementioned parliamentarian participated in free medical campaigns, but using a banner from his office with the symbol of his political organization.
Four days later, this action was warned by the Special Electoral Jury (JEE) of Lambayeque and through report number 000017-2025-ENR-JEELambayeque-EG2026/JNE.
Three days later, Fuerza Popular congressman Alejandro Aguinaga presented his defense, requesting that the non-violation of the principle of neutrality be declared and the procedure be archived.
However, on December 11, the JEE-Lambayeque declared that the legislator did violate the propaganda regulations in favor of his political party within the framework of the 2026 Elections.
Five days later, the parliamentarian filed an appeal, before the National Elections Jury (JNE), against the aforementioned resolution, requesting that said decision be revoked.
This Thursday the 5th, the request of Fuerza Popular congressman Alejandro Aguinaga was declared unfounded by the entity and, therefore, it was confirmed that the principle of neutrality was violated.
