The comments he received ranged from sympathy to ridicule, with some advising Musk to turn to religion or philanthropy.
His fortune is estimated at $668 billion, and at the end of 2025 the shareholders of Tesla, the electric car company that Musk runs, approved a compensation package for him that could be worth up to $1 trillion.
