Salary transparency: companies have until today to complete report

As of this Thursday (5), consultation on payment of the PIS-Pasep 2026 Salary Allowance is now available. To find out if you are entitled, the worker must access the Digital Work Card application or the Gov.br portal. Find out how to check if you are entitled to the PIS/Pasep 2026 salary bonus

The payment refers to the base year 2024. 1.8 million private sector workers enrolled in the Social Integration Program (PIS) will be covered, paid by Caixa Econômica Federal, for a total of R$2.29 billion.

Another 217.2 thousand public servants, registered in the Public Servant Asset Formation Program (Pasep), will receive payments from Banco do Brasil, totaling R$301.9 million.

How to consult the Digital Work Card?

– Download the application on your cell phone;

– Check if it is updated;

– Log in with the Gov.br password;

– In the menu, access “Benefits” and “Salary Allowance”.

Payments

On the platforms, it is possible to check information such as the value of the benefit, the bank responsible for the payment and the specific date of the deposit. In total, payments total R$32.3 billion and are distributed according to the beneficiary’s month of birth.

The value corresponds to the current value of the minimum wage divided by 12 and multiplied by the number of months worked in the base year. This year, the Salary Allowance varies from R$136 to R$1,621.

The first batch of payments will be released on February 16th – worth R$2.5 billion – for workers born in January. The amounts will be available to beneficiaries until the end of the calendar on December 30th.

Who is entitled to the Salary Allowance in 2026?

– be registered with Pis/Pasep for at least five years, counting from the date of the first connection;

– have received, from employers who contribute to the programs, up to R$2,766 in average monthly remuneration during the period worked;

– have carried out paid work for at least 30 days in the base year, whether consecutive days or not;

– have the base year data correctly informed by the employer in eSocial.

Doubts

In case of doubt, the worker can seek the service channels of the Ministry of Labor and Employment, the units of the regional Labor superintendencies or the Alô Trabalho center, by telephone 158.
