The departmental director of the Ministry of Social Development Elida Díaz confirmed to the Daily Professional that the Care System Day Center that operates at the AIAMCEL headquarters will continue to operate, after the financial items that were owed were unblocked.
Díaz pointed out that, after the public repercussion generated by the situation of the service, MIDES regularized the pending payments, thus guaranteeing the continuity of care for the elderly who attend the center daily.
In this way, the normal functioning of the device is ensured, considered essential for the support and care of this population in the department.
