Two subjects were sentenced to 23 years in prison for trying to murder a citizen to steal his belongings in the state of Lara.
According to the Public Ministry bulletin, through their Instagram account, the subjects identified as Arleide García and Leandro Rodríguez will serve sentences for the crimes of homicide qualified in degree of frustration, illicit possession of a firearm and aggravated robbery.
Sentenced to 22 years in prison for child sexual abuse
On the other hand, Oscar de Jesús Rivero (44) was sentenced to 22 years in prison for sexually abusing his 3-year-old niece, an event that occurred on November 9, 2021 in the La Cumbre sector of the town of Valera, Trujillo state.
That day, the victim’s mother was absent from her residence to take her other children to school, while she left the girl in the care of her paternal uncle. After returning to the house, he noticed that the baby had blood on her underwear, so when he questioned her, he told her that the aggressor had inserted his member into her.
Given this confession, the woman immediately went to officials of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc) to report the situation, which is why a commission was formed that detained the man at his home and placed him under the command of the Public Ministry.
