The Minister of Transportation, Aníbal Eduardo Coronado Millán, was appointed as president of the state company Metrobús de Venezuela SA, as stated in Official Gazette No. 43,305 dated January 28, 2026.
Under Decree No. 5,230, Coronado also takes over as president in charge of the Board of Directors, with the objective of optimizing the surface transportation system within the framework of the mobility plans directed by the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez.
In the same edition of the Official Gazette, the appointment of Rolando José Alcalá Miranda as the new General Director of the Maiquetía International Airport Institute (Iaim) is made official.

Likewise, the appointment of Yurima del Carmen Rebolledo Torres as general director of the Indigenous Communal Territory of Los Valles, Sabanas and Tepuyes was announced, under the leadership of the Ministry for Indigenous Peoples.
This designation is intended to deepen the direct attention and organization of popular power originating in these geographical areas, aligned with the inclusion and territorial protection policies of the Venezuelan State.
