The Ministry for the Penitentiary Service carries out a comprehensive approach in prisons in the states of Lara and Falcón. Details of the sessions were provided by the minister of the area, Julio García Zerpa, who highlighted that one of the establishments addressed is the Coro Penitentiary Community, located in Falcón.
The Minister reported from this center on the legal and technical assistance sessions, which are being developed to optimize response times and guarantee due process for those deprived of liberty. He also reported the inspection of compliance with the regime, to maintain order and discipline. “We continue to advance in the consolidation of an efficient prison system, focused on humanistic transformation,” wrote García Zerpa.
A similar event was held in the Fénix Lara Penitentiary Community, its Women’s Annex and the David Viloria, located in Barquisimeto.
“Our multidisciplinary teams continue to carry out psychosocial tests and review and organize files, to contribute substantially to streamlining procedures for access to justice for the prison population,” the Minister reported on his social networks.
