Deputy Nicolás Maduro Guerra dedicated a heartfelt message to his father, President Nicolás Maduro, one month after his kidnapping by the United States.
Through a post posted on social networks, Maduro Guerra shared two photographs where he can be seen sharing with his father in childhood and, together with the first lady Cilia Flores, already in his adult stage.
The parliamentarian described this period of absence as a time of challenges, but also of deep spiritual and political strength for the family and the Venezuelan people.
“A month without your advice, without your quick response, without your wisdom and without your ability to always have solutions,” wrote Maduro Guerra.
In the publication he acknowledges that this time has been difficult; However, he stressed that there is a collective certainty in the people, who feel prepared to face this challenge.
In that sense, he highlighted that the serenity and peace transmitted by the national leader sustain the firmness of those who defend the homeland today.
The deputy emphasized that, despite the sadness, the Government team and the Popular Power remain united on the path of Bolívar and Chávez.
With a message of hope, he assured that the management will continue under the principles of sovereignty, dialogue and diplomacy.
Finally, he reaffirmed his faith in a soon reunion: “You will be among us sooner rather than later. Long live the country! Long live Nicolás Maduro Moros and Cilia Flores!”, he stressed.
