The list could continue to grow. The Special Electoral Juries (JEE) from various parts of the country have declared inadmissible, from December to date, a total of 1,210 candidates for the next bicameral Congress.
A review of the electoral platform of the National Election Jurymade by Peru21shows that, in the first instance, 90 candidates for the Andean Parliament, 740 for the Chamber of Deputies and 380 for the Chamber of Senators have been out of the race, of which 130 correspond to the National Senate and 250 to the Multiple District Senate.
LET’S SAVE PERU
One of the cases that drew the most attention was the exclusion of the Save Peru party from the complete list of 30 candidates for the National Senate.
He JEE Lima Centro 2 adopted this decision on January 5 after confirming that one of the candidates—the former Minister of the Interior and Defense Mariano González—had resigned before the list was registered and was not replaced within the legal deadline.

Among the best-known figures in that relationship was the former prime minister of Alan García’s government and former regional governor of Lambayeque, Yehude Simon.
FAITH IN PERU
In the same context, the list of candidates for the Chamber of Deputies for Cusco from the Fe en el Perú party was excluded on January 6, after the JEE Cusco concluded that the observations made were not adequately corrected.

The resolution indicates that the political organization did not present the act of formation of the list resulting from the primary elections and, in addition, it reused a payment receipt already used in another file.
Among the best-known candidates on this list was the former Cienciano footballer and Copa Sudamericana champion, César Ccahuantico.
The question now is how many lists will resist the final filter of the National Elections Jury.

-February 11. The electoral expert and president of Aklla, José Tello, pointed out that this is the deadline that the JNE has to resolve the inconveniences.
-Other key dates. According to Tello, the blemishes must be resolved in the first instance in the JEE until February 26. And until March 13 they must be resolved in the second instance in the JNE.
