Man arrested for attacking his partner and stepdaughters in Sucre

A man was arrested for attacking his partner and stepdaughters in the Caigüire neighborhood, Las Pepitonas sector, of the Valentín Valiente parish, Sucre municipality, Cumaná, Sucre state. The authorities confirmed that the subject used blunt objects to abuse victims.

The procedure was carried out by officials from the Cumaná Municipal Delegation of the Corps of Scientific, Criminal and Criminalistic Investigations (Cicpc). The detainee was identified as Geraldo José Mota, nicknamed Lalo.

Arrested for assault

The investigators’ work determined that the victims were a 41-year-old woman and two young people, ages 15 and 12. They were allegedly violated by Mota, who He threatened to kill them and physically attacked them with blunt objects.

This was reported by the director of the Cicpc, Douglas Rico, through Instagram. A multidisciplinary team traveled to the scene to rescue the victims, who asked for help, so they were protected.

The victims underwent several examinations that confirmed abuse by the detainee. Besides, As evidence, blunt objects and knives were collected. The case was left to the order of the Public Ministry.
