The intense rains recorded this Sunday, February 1, caused a landslide that blocked the road that connects the province of Cutervo with Jaén, near San Lorenzo, Cajamarca region.
This situation stopped vehicular trafficleaving several transporters stranded for hours, until the arrival of machinery that would allow the release.
In the event of an emergency, CONVIAL Sierra Norte moved heavy machinery to the area to carry out the cleaning and rehabilitation work on the affected road.
Given this, the authorities recommended take precautions for these situations generated by intense rainfall. As is known, Senamhi warned of the presence of moderate intensity rains on the north coast and mountains, for this February 3 and 4.
Likewise, INDECI urged local authorities to carry out prevention actions.
