Corinthians are champions of the Supercopa Rei. The achievement was confirmed with the 2-0 victory over Flamengo at the Mané Garrincha stadium, in Brasília, this Sunday afternoon (1st). The São Paulo team won the tournament’s second title.
The first cup had been obtained in 1991 also against Flamengo. In 2026, Corinthians participated in the Super Cup because they were the champions of the 2025 Copa do Brasil. Flamengo, because they were the national champions last season.
This season’s final began to be decided with defender Gabriel Paulista’s goal in the 25th minute of the game.
