Popular Freedoma party that is running for General Elections 2026 with Rafael Belaunde as a presidential candidate, he denounced that the Claridad portal system of the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) presents deficiencies that prevent compliance with the electoral range.
Through a statement released on its official X account (formerly Twitter) on December 31, the political group explained that these difficulties do not allow the configuration of advertising approved for contracted spaces in the media, such as radio, television and digital media, so that its candidacy can reach more people.

“Personnel from our organization have reported in advance to the ONPE about these rulings, which has been recognized by the electoral body,” the statement said.
In that sense, the political group urged the ONPE to issue a “prompt and satisfactory response that does not harm the work carried out,” because the deadline given expired at midnight.
“Popular Freedom condemns this fact that puts transparency at risk to compete on equal terms in the electoral process,” the letter adds.
