Popocatépetl activity
By monitoring the Popocatépetl volcano, constant emissions of water vapor and some volcanic gases of light and moderate intensity have been identified. No recent ash emissions have been recorded.
If it occurs, the plume would disperse to the southeast, without the risk of ash falling in Mexico City, the authorities said.
The SGIRPC recommended that the population remain attentive to the updates of the Multi-Risk Early Warning System and follow the civil protection instructions in the event of temperature changes.
