The Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, reported this Saturday the reception in Caracas of the American diplomat, Laura Dogu, who arrived at the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, La Guaira state.
Through his Telegram channel, he noted that the arrival of the US envoy occurs within the framework of the work agenda between the governments of Venezuela and Washington, aimed at establishing a work roadmap on matters of bilateral interest.
He indicated that the work route also includes addressing and resolving existing differences through diplomatic dialogue and on the basis of mutual respect and International Law.
For its part, the US embassy in Venezuela published through its social networks a photograph of Dogu disembarking from the plane with a message reaffirming his presence on homeland: «I just arrived in Venezuela. “My team and I are ready to work.”
