The Judge of Guarantees of the province of Panama Oeste, Eduardo Escobar, in a hearing of multiple requests, ordered the personal precautionary measure the provisional detention of a citizen nicknamed “Palitroque” for the alleged commission of crimes against Life and Personal Integrity (Aggravated Intentional Homicide), Against Economic Patrimony (Aggravated Robbery), Illicit Association for Aggravated Crime and Against Individual Liberty (Deprivation of Liberty) to the detriment of Enrique Ryce, a 21-year-old young man.
Previously, the Judge of Guarantees legalized the apprehension, considered the filing of charges presented, and imposed the personal precautionary measure of provisional detention, when assessing the procedural risks of the act.
In this hearing, the Public Ministry was represented by the Prosecutor of the Homicide and Femicide Section, Patricia Natera; the Public Defense of Crime Victims, was exercised by Afranio Carrera; and the legal representation of the accused was in charge of the Public Defender, María Del Carmen Castillo, who announced an appeal for the decreed decision, which was scheduled for March 24 at 3:30 pm of the current year, in the facilities of the Accusatory Penal System, Fortuna Building.
This incident occurred in the month of December 2020, on the road that leads to the Punta Chame sector, province of Panama Oeste, and other citizens are being investigated for this same criminal case.
