Military agents located a body tied inside a camp built by Tancol groups (Armed Terrorists, Colombian Drug Traffickers), located in the Caname sector, Atabapo municipality (San Fernando de Atabapo), Amazonas state.
Such information was aired on his social networks by Domingo Hernández Lárez, head of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Ceofanb).
Inside the Tancol camp, the military located instruments normally used in mining and drug trafficking activities, among which is a case SR200 mini front loader machine used to build runways. They also found a tractor, a Toyota short chassis, Land Cruiser model and a motorcycle. All these implements were destroyed.
Hernández Lárez’s report indicates that in the Tancol camp they also located 10,000 liters of Av-Gas aviation fuel; an unidentified male corpse tied up and three tons of various food.
The Tancol camp contained 8 improvised homes with two cambuches-type bathrooms.
Hernández Lárez specified that the procedure is part of Operation Bolivarian Shield 2025 “Neblina 2026”, with the participation of a mixed combat Rapid Response Unit in route, area and zone air patrol missions.
A similar procedure was carried out in the Mina Nueva sector, Atabapo municipality (Amazonas), where the military proceeded to destroy two mining camps that contained: 4 motor pumps, three carpets used as a sieve, 22 meters of high-pressure hose and 500 liters of fuel.
”In the state of Amazonas, mining and hydrocarbon exploitation is prohibited, as well as the construction of works of any type, as it is subject to the special security and defense administration regime. “Venezuela fights daily against the scourge of drug trafficking and illegal cross-border mining and its structures,” concluded Hernández Lárez.
