The titular prosecutor of the Duarte province, Smaily Yamel Rodríguezreported this Friday that in the next few hours will be submitted to the action of justice Ankelsy Valerio de Jesús22 years old, accused of being responsible for the death of her younger sister, Aneisy Ceballos de Jesús, 14 years old.
Rodríguez explained that due to the case, it will be required preventive detention as measure of coercionas it is an event that seriously endangered a fundamental legal good such as life, and that could lead to a sentence of up to 20 years of prison for homicide to the detriment of a minor.
Furthermore, he indicated that the ministry maintains several lines of research open and has other people detained to fully clarify the circumstances in which the event occurred.
