THE TV Brazil Internationalbroadcaster of Brazilian Communication Company (EBC)will once again show the Pernambuco My Country Summer Festival this weekend. This time, the event lands on the Island of Itamaracá, on the north coast of the state. The broadcasts take place from this Friday (30th) to Sunday (1st), starting at 8pm, and are the result of a partnership with Pernambuco Communication Company (EPC)responsible for TV Pernambuco and member of the National Public Communication Network (RNCP).
Prominent artists from Pernambuco and national music make up the program for the three days of the event. Names like Natanzinho Lima, Lia de Itamaracá, Gaby Amarantos, Thiaguinho, É o Tchan and Xanddy Harmonia take to the stage.
The summer edition of Pernambuco Meu País is included in the state’s tourist and cultural calendar. In December last year, the festival passed through Camaragibe and the Maritime Passenger Terminal, in Recife, in addition to being part of the New Year’s Eve program in Jaboatão dos Guararapes. At the beginning of January, the initiative moved to São José da Coroa Grande and included an exhibition of TV Brazil International.
