More than 237 thousand pensioners of the National Pension System (SNP) will benefit from the increase in the maximum pension limit, which may reach up to 1,000 soles starting in 2026, according to a measure approved by the Executive.
The increase reaches retirement and disability pensioners who have the right to a definitive pension as of December 31, 2025 and meet the established requirements.
In the case of retirement, the benefit includes those who have a minimum of 20 years of contributions to the system.
The increase can reach up to 100 soles, and those who already received a previous increase will obtain the differential amount to complete the benefit. The payment with the new amount will be made together with the pension corresponding to February 2026.

• R – Z: February 11
The measure will have an estimated annual impact of more than 300 million soles on the pension payroll, which will be financed with resources from the ONP’s institutional budget.
