The body corresponding to Wiliannys López, an official of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), was found in El Corozo, a rural sector of the San Felipe municipality (Yaracuy), according to reports.
Forensic studies revealed that the woman died from mechanical asphyxiation. The body was found by farmers who were carrying out weeding in the aforementioned sector. Later, they told the police authorities that the body was devoid of underwear and the blouse was pulled up to the level of the breasts.
The last time the official had contact with her relatives was last Thursday, January 22. He told a family member that he would move to the Ciudadela Hugo Chávez urbanization where he lived with his partner.
In another incident, a woman identified as Laura Acevedo was allegedly murdered by her partner, a crime that occurred inside the residence they both shared, located on 9 San Juan de Colón Street (Táchira).
After learning of the murder, Cicpc agents went to the aforementioned residence, lifted the body and began investigations.
