San Francisco de Macorís.– A 20-year-old young man remains admitted to a health center, after being wounded by a gunshot in a family conflict in which a 22-year-old woman killed her teenage sistera tragedy that occurred in the Duarte Arriba sector of this city, the authorities reported this Thursday.
The injured person was identified as Enmanuel Núñez Batistawho continues to receive medical care after being hit by gunshots during the incident, which is being investigated by the National Police and the Public Ministry.
Due to the case, the authorities activated the search and capture of Ankelsy Valerio de Jesús, 22, identified as the alleged perpetrator of the shots that caused the death of her sister, Anelsy Ceballos de Jesús, 13, and left the young man seriously injured.
According to the preliminary report, the incident occurred on the outskirts of a residence, where a quarrel between both sisters, situation that led to the use of a firearm.
During the survey of the scene, the agents collected 9 millimeter caliber casings, as well as three knives, which are part of the evidence incorporated into the investigation.
The medical examiner determined that the teenager died due to hemorrhagic shock due to a gunshot wound, while the injured young man remains under medical observation.

The mother of both girls was inconsolable. when going to the San Francisco de Macorís hospital, where the lifeless body of the teenager was taken.
In a video broadcast on social networks, the woman expressed that she did not speak with the eldest while the youngest did not live with her, although she assured that they saw each other every day, and stated that she did not know if there were previous conflicts between her daughters.
The National Police reiterated the call to the alleged aggressor to surrender by any means she considers appropriate.and assured that investigations are ongoing to fully clarify the incident.
