“We already have a definitive number of Peruvians who are authorized to vote abroad,” the diplomat reported in an interview with Canal N, after pointing out that for these elections 218 voting locations will be installed, which will be in charge of 121 consular offices.
Among the cities with the largest number of compatriots voting abroad are Santiago, in Chile; Buenos Aires, in Argentina; and Madrid, in Spain.
Meanwhile, in the United States, there is a large number of voters in the cities of Patterson (New Jersey); New York, Washington DC, Miami (Florida) and Los Angeles (California).
In addition, Ambassador Bravo reported that 21,881 Peruvians who will serve as table members have already been drawn, although this number, he said, will be defined in the coming weeks.
Likewise, he announced that, in order to improve the service and attention of Peruvians abroad for these elections, the 35 students of the Diplomatic Academy, who generally do their internships at the Foreign Ministry headquarters in Lima, this time will travel abroad to support the consulates in the organization of the elections.
