The general secretary of the United Socislist Party of Venezuela (Psuv), Diosdado Cabello, emphasized that the releases were ordered since last December, by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
In this sense, he reported that 23 more citizens were released this Wednesday. “The Bolivarian Revolution, where we, the factors of the State, have added 808 releases until yesterday (…) and they came out today, in the morning, and we are adding, there were 23 that came out today in the morning and we continue reviewing each case,” he reported.
During his program Con el Mazo Dando, in his 560th broadcast, Cabello addressed the issue of the releases “of people who call themselves political prisoners, but are not political prisoners (…) that was ordered by President Nicolás Maduro in the month of December and even before; what we have done is give it continuity.”
In this sense, Cabello described as hypocrites those who ask for the release of alleged political prisoners and support the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro.
«I want to clarify who today is campaigning for the supposed political prisoners of Venezuela, they are celebrating because President Nicolás Maduro is kidnapped in the United States. They applaud him, he is a political prisoner, because they don’t ask for him too. “It’s hypocrisy,” he highlighted.
He stated that until this Tuesday, January 27, “there were 808 citizens released, each with their own condition, there have been nationals and foreigners.”
“They have been released, what we ask is that those who have been released understand two things: while they were there, the opposition sectors neither named them, nor visited them, much less were they attentive to their family,” he stated.
Secondly, Cabello assured that his release is also due to a plan “presented by comrade Delcy Rodríguez, that of Coexistence and Peace.”
Release Maduro and Cilia
The revolutionary leader recalled that, within the three fundamental lines of work, in the current scenario of a united country, are peace and tranquility, economic recovery and the prompt release of the presidential couple, currently hostages in the United States.
“The first task is to bring President Nicolás Maduro and Cilia Flores. It is the route, as we have outlined and we are heading towards it (…) to return them here, to Venezuela, a president that this people elected and is in prisoner of war status in the United States.”
He thanked all the organizations, social movements and peoples of the world who have expressed their solidarity with massive demonstrations throughout the world, to demand liberation.
On the other hand, Cabello condemned that the Ecclesiastical Hierarchy at this point has not spoken out about the aggression against the country on January 3rd.
“The fascists in cassocks who accompany La Sayona (María Corina Machado) have not said anything about the attacks against the country, they have not said a mass for the dead, for those murdered, not a little mass or a prayer in a mass, on the contrary,” he indicated.
He recalled that within that Ecclesiastical Hierarchy there are still “adecos with cassocks, although right now almost all the representatives of the church are fascists with cassocks,” referring to the fact that they have accompanied sectors of the extreme right in the attacks against Venezuela.
He emphasized that the Ecclesiastical Hierarchy, although they say nothing about the aggression against Venezuela, do have space to attack the Bolivarian Revolution.
Delcy Rodríguez points out the path of the Revolution
The leader of the red awning pointed out that this extremist sector that mocks the bombs and the terror of children every day without any blush, “but to their regret, here is President Delcy Rodríguez pointing out the path of the Bolivarian Revolution.
«All these people who celebrated, who toasted, who celebrated because bombs were falling on Caracas, those who let their bitterness slide with their expressions and statements; “They were betting that they were going to be here on January 4th and they have not arrived because things have not turned out as they expected, and on the contrary, our conscious, informed people, with the Constitution in hand, know what they have to do,” he emphasized.
He emphasized that the Venezuelan people are winning and little by little they are taking the course they were on before the attack of imperialism on January 3. “We are winning, with hand-held management of the entire situation; without stridency, without scandals, without fights. We have been little by little getting the country on its way,” he expressed.
He recalled that the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, has announced the formation of social funds for development. “Little by little the country is beginning to move and return to the path it was on,” he reiterated.
