The Superintendence of Companies confirmed the reorganization agreement of Audifarma SAthe largest distributor of medicines and medical-surgical supplies in the country, after hearings held between January 23 and 27, 2026.
The decision seeks guarantee the operational continuity of the company and protect the interests of patients, EPS, IPS and other users of health services in Colombia.
Audifarma faced financial difficulties since 2024, which affected their ability to pay suppliers and creditors.
However, as of September 2025, the company reported assets of $3.07 billion and liabilities of $3.06 billionwith a team of 3,322 employees and a wide network of pharmacies nationwide. The agreement, approved by more than 80% of the creditors, will allow the normalization of liabilities of more than $2.7 trillion in 12 yearsavoiding the closure of the company and ensuring the continuous provision of health services.

For patients, this reorganization means that there will be no interruptions in the delivery of medications, medical supplies or prostheses.
Payments will be made according to legal priority: first to workers, then public entities, suppliers and banks.
In addition, the payment plan will be supported by the company’s operating flow and outstanding portfolio resources, which guarantees that Audifarma can continue operating while meeting its financial commitments.
