Junín: Candidate Omar Ordoñez proposes anti-corruption reforms and changes to the State

The candidate for deputy for the Purple Party, Omar Ordoñez, participated in the podcast “Know your candidate” from Diario Correo, where he presented his main legislative proposals and his vision on the current political situation.

During the interview, Ordoñez proposed reforms aimed at strengthening the fight against corruption, including changes to the public procurement law to guarantee greater transparency and citizen access to information on the use of State resources. Likewise, he questioned the so-called “pro-crime” laws and pointed out the need to repeal regulations that, in his opinion, weaken tax investigations.

The candidate also spoke in favor of fully implementing the Civil Service Law as a mechanism to reinforce meritocracy and reduce clientelism in the state apparatus, including the Congress of the Republic.

In urban matters, he warned about the disorderly expansion of real estate projects on agricultural lands in the Mantaro Valley and proposed promoting compact cities, with greater oversight by local authorities.

Finally, he expressed the need for structural reforms to Congress and the future Senate to regain legitimacy and citizen trust, in a context marked by political disaffection.
