Santo Domingo Oeste.– A 21-year-old girl was shot early this Monday in the Herrera sector, presumably by unknown armed men.
The wound was identified as Esteisis Peña Santa21 years old, resident in the Buenos Aires de Herrera sector, according to police authorities.
According to his testimony, Peña Santa was shot in the right arm while riding a motorcycle with several friends. At that moment, they were intercepted by several men armed with guns, who tried to rob them of their belongings.

When he failed to achieve his goal, one of the attackers fired a shot that hit the young woman, and then fled.
