The Public Ministry reported the arrest and judicial prosecution of a man involved in the death of a minor in the state of Carabobo.
The citizen identified as Wilver González will be charged with the crimes of “intentional homicide as a result of possible fraud and failure to provide assistance” after running over the child.
“The man, irresponsibly and recklessly, was driving a transport unit at excess speed and on the way he ran over a 12-year-old boy, causing his death,” the agency detailed.
After the collision, the driver did not provide aid to the victim, which led to an immediate deployment of the authorities to locate and arrest him.
