The giant e-commerce giant Amazon.com plans a new round of layoffs next week as part of a plan to cut about 30,000 corporate employees.
The company eliminated about 14,000 white-collar jobs in October. The total this time is likely to be about the same as in 2025, and job cuts could begin as early as Tuesday.
Corporate jobs in Amazon Web Services, retail, Prime Video and human resources are likely to be affected.
Funeral Group J. García López, a Mexican funeral services company, plans to invest 225 million pesos in infrastructure, technological developments and new branches during 2026.
The investment will be used to expand Casa Coyoacán with four additional viewing rooms, in addition to the opening of new branches of Santa Gloria Velatorios, as well as two more Bye Bye Friend facilities, among other projects.

Mty Fibera real estate investment trust that operates in the industrial and office segments, will pay a cash distribution among its holders of Real Estate Trust Certificates (CBFI) for the cash generated in October 2025 on January 30.
The fiber said that it will deliver a dividend of 0.0816299947420949 pesos per CBFI, equivalent to a total disbursement of 199 million 069,000 pesos.
The company said that the ex-right and registration date will be January 29.
The cash dividend that the real estate trust will grant would mean a yield of approximately 0.5%, taking into account the closing of 15.23 pesos on January 22 on the Mexican Stock Exchange, or the equivalent of an annualized rate of 2.1 percent.
