Ruby Pérez's sister criticizes the Public Ministry's handling of the Jet Set case

Santo Domingo.- The representative for the province of Puerto Plata, Lidia Perezsister of the deceased Dominican merengue player Ruby Perezcriticized this Sunday the way in which the Public Ministry (MP) is handling the case corresponding to the victims of the collapse of the Jet Set nightclub, which left more than 200 people dead.

Pérez, when questioned while participating in the march called by family and friends of the fatal victims of the entertainment center about whether she considered that the Public Ministry is sold out or not regarding the case, said that this is not a question of whether it is or not, but of the measures that are being carried out around the event. “The issue is not whether it is sold or not sold, but the measures that have been taken,” said Pérez.

The walk, called by the Justice Jet Set Movementwas scheduled to begin at 2:00 in the afternoon this Sunday, January 25, and culminated in the vicinity of the National Palace, it was carried out with the purpose of demanding justice for the 236 people who died and the more than 180 injured.
