We await the approval of the law for Petropar to lower the price of its fuels to G. 500. We are in a fight so that the reduction reaches G. 1000 as promised by the Government”, he pointed out.
Although at 10:00 a.m. is the call for the extraordinary session, at 9:00 a.m., an informative meeting is expected where Denis Lichi and Óscar Llamosas, heads of Petropar and Hacienda, respectively, will be present. The objective of this meeting will be to inform legislators who are hesitant about details of the bill.
GOVERNMENT MEASURES
As a measure to achieve a reduction in the price of fuel, the National Economic Team (EEN) announced that Petropar lowered G. 500 per liter since yesterday, Thursday, type 3 diesel, 93 naphtha and common naphtha. The measure will last 30 days (from March 17 to April 16).
In addition to this, they presented the bill for the “Fuel Price Stabilization Fund”. This initiative seeks the approval of a loan of US$ 120 million to be able to materialize the reduction of another G. 500 of the two types of fuels already mentioned.
