BHD Funds announced today that it will develop two luxury hotels under the brands of Marriott International through Miches Capital Investment, inverted company by the BHD Closed Development Investment Fund in association with the Prime Group.
The novelty was announced during the International Tourism Fair (Fitur) 2026where it was also reported that the investment In these projects it exceeds 300 million dollars.
The hotels JW Marriott and Autograph Collection in Playa Esmeralda, Miches, Dominican Republic, will have a total of 650 rooms: 200 in the JW Marriott and 450 in the Autograph Collection.
The project also contemplates the development of 36 residences luxury and brand apartments JW Marriott and others complementary amenities for the guests of the destination.
Promotion of new poles
Gabriel Tineogeneral manager of BHD Fundsemphasized that they are focused on promoting new poles and sustainable development of tourism.
He added that with the signing of the franchise with Marriott International and in partnership with Prime Groupfrom the United States, the first phase of the hotel and residential project in Miches begins.
He also assured that this “will raise the value of the hotel and real estate offer in the country and improve the economic conditions of the population of the province with this important investment foreigner and local”.
The hotels will be developed within a portion of the land 600,000 square metersproperty of Miches Land Development, inverted company by the BHD Development Fund in participation with local partners of Grupo Therrestra, Grupo Sallant, TVP Management and Constructora Sofisa.
