River Plate signs David Trezeguet

The former Franco-Argentine soccer player David Trezeguet (48) was appointed this Thursday in a new institutional role in the Argentine club River Plate, oriented to the linkage and representation of the entity, with a focus on the development of strategic alliances and the strengthening of its institutional positioning. The presentation was made together with the club’s president, Stefano Di Carlo, and is part of River Plate’s institutional relationship and projection strategy, as reported by the institution in a statement.

With a career historically linked to the club, experience in the elite of world football and a background in institutional representation functions in the JuventusTrezeguet will be incorporated as a reference figure for the design and execution of initiatives that generate new value opportunities for River. Within this framework, you will work in an articulated manner with the Institutional, Marketing and Commercial areas, and will participate in the management of strategic alliances with organizations, companies and institutions, as well as in the monitoring of commercial agreements and activations linked to sponsors and members of the club.

A stronger institutional structure

Its functions also include the institutional and sports representation of River Plate in official events, celebrations and formal meetings, as well as instances of relations with football leaders, the sports industry and other key actors, both locally and internationally, when appropriate. With this incorporation, River Plate seeks to strengthen its institutional structure and its growth strategy, adding a figure with identity, trajectory and experience in representation functions, in line with the positioning and projection of the club’s brand.
