Franco Navarrosports director of Lima Alliancegave an interview to the RPP program ‘Vamos al VAR’, where he spoke about the case of the sexual complaint against the footballers. Carlos Zambrano, Sergio Peña and Miguel Trauco, for which the institution decided to indefinitely remove the three players from the first team.
“Sunday was a day where we finished playing very late with Colo Colo, after three games where we saw that the team meets the expectations that we all expect. At 5 in the morning we went to the airport and everything was normal. Today (Thursday) morning on the way to training, this news appears that leaves us in a sad situation, difficult to explain,” he said, recalling the events that occurred on Sunday, January 18.
“We met with Pablo Guede, the sports area and the legal area. The decision was made to separate these players indefinitely. The investigation (into allegations of abuse) continues its course, but women entered the concentration, something that we regret. We said that this year we were not going to allow any act of indiscipline.” And he added: “It breaks your heart, because you want the best, you want them to succeed, but they are difficult situations, but what involves the entire sports team and is not good for us, we have to eradicate it. We said at the beginning of the year that we were not going to tolerate any type of foul.”

“They brought me in to make decisions and since last year I have been making them. What I do is make decisions for the benefit of the club, seeking to achieve the objectives we set for ourselves,” he said.
The manager stressed that the lack of athletes corresponds to the arrival of women to the club’s preseason concentration held in Montevideo. “What is confirmed is that they brought them, that is the indiscipline. That is the most important thing. We are not going to go into detail,” he said.
