Huancayo: two who stole accessories at parties are caught with bullets
A couple of Christmas basket suppliers held a protest in front of the College of Engineers of Huancayo, demanding payment of S/ 70 thousand that they claim is owed to them, after the delivery of the service corresponding to the Christmas campaign.
The protesters denounced that, despite having the delivery’s approval, the institution intends to apply a penalty, which would prevent payment, and pointed out that they are not allowed to dialogue with the dean to clarify the situation.
The dean, in statements to a radio outlet, explained that the process was conducted by a commission chaired by the vice dean, through a public tender, in which delivery times and payment conditions were set. Although the baskets were delivered, he indicated that a management report determined that deadlines were not met, which is why a penalty was applied.
Likewise, he clarified that Irving, who is leading the protest, is not the legal representative of the company, and questioned the measure adopted by the suppliers, considering that it affects the institutional image.
