Likewise, Espinoza referred to the vigil she held inside the facilities of the Prosecutor’s Office accompanied by workers from the entity and singing the national anthem as a sign of rejection of Benavides, whom the JNJ intends to return to occupy the position of prosecutor of the Nation.
“What vigil is a crime? It is a religious act, it was led by a sister who is also a staff member of the Public Ministry. Nobody did anything against Benavides, she entered illegally and improperly, bringing in people we did not know who they were who were later shown to have weapons. Weapons cannot enter the Prosecutor’s Office. They wanted to assault the Public Ministry,” he said.
“She has chosen some things to put everything together in a fallacious way (…) everything is in the videos, at some point the videos will be known (…) Mrs. Cabrera was biased in her interrogation, she did not call all the witnesses she should have called, she did not call everyone, because she knew they would tell the truth.
