Notice extends registrations for restoration on indigenous lands

The Floresta Viva – Indigenous Lands notice, which will invest R$8.8 million in ecological restoration projects on indigenous lands, was extended. Now, Organizations that want to submit proposals for this notice will be able to register until February 27th.Notice extends registrations for restoration on indigenous lands

The call for notice is focused on environmental recovery projects that are combined with the economic and social strengthening of indigenous and will select up to four initiatives that will be developed in the states of Mato Grosso, Tocantins and Maranhão. The resources are contributed by the Bunge Foundation, Agrícola Alvorada and the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES).

Registration is done through website from the Brazilian Biodiversity Fund (Funbio)which is responsible for the technical and financial management of the notice. Questions about the call can be sent via of that link until February 7th.
