Santo Domingo. — The general management of the Santo Domingo Aqueduct and Sewer Corporation (CAASD) reported that the drinking water service has been restored in the sectors affected by the fault which caused a drilling truck in the Don Honorio sector, in Santo Domingo Oeste.
The director of the CAASD, Fellito Suberví, said that since two in the afternoon this Tuesday the fault was corrected and the sectors La Venta, Don Honorio, El Condado, La Ceiba, Kilometer 13, Proyecto Cristal, Residencial Rosa América, El Valle Independencia, Kilometer 14, Los Hidalgos, and La Ciénaga del Kilometer 14, among others, immediately began to receive the liquid.
The official said that on Thursday the brigades will be working on reconditioning the area affected by the breakdown.
The correction work was supervised by the director of the CAASD, Fellito Suberví, who recalled that the affected line was 30 inches of the Isa-Mana system.
