The measure responds to the high risk of landslides, landslides and activation of streams due to the intense rains expected for the next 24 hours.

This update is based on a short-term warning from Senamhi, in force from 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20 to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, which warns of heavy to extremely intense rainfall in areas of the mountain range of Áncash, Arequipa, Huánuco, Junín, Lima, Moquegua, Puno and Tacna.
