Yessica Soveida Durán Trejo, a 23-year-old girl, was murdered by her ex-partner José Atilio Ortega Chacón, 32, because He refused to end the relationship. The crime occurred on January 10 in the Emeterio Ochoa parish of the Libertador municipality of Táchira state.
