He Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic (minerd) reported that this Monday start the application of the third stage of the Teaching Performance Evaluation 2025-2026, called Self-assessment.
Through a press release, the minerd explained that the Self-assessment is the result of the successful development of the processes of Self-management of Institutional Teaching Account and “My Charge to Evaluate”. These stages have allowed progress in the technological infrastructure, as well as in the verification and validation of charges. teachers.
The previous stage, “My Charge to Evaluate”allowed enabling a total of 99,492 teachersfrom a universe of 117,811who are already properly validated to start the process of Self-assessment.
Open process for 13,601 teachers earrings
- The institution indicated that the stage My Position to Evaluate will remain enabled so that 13,601 teachers who have not yet confirmed their work credentials can complete this process and be formally qualified to participate in the next stage.
In that sense, the minerd stated that the assessment of the skills, performance and commitment of teachers and staffTeaching staff constitutes a strategic priority for the current managementwithin the framework of strengthening educational quality and the continuous improvement of educational system national.
He minerd remembered that the Teaching Performance Evaluation is supported by departmental orders 18/205 and 50/2025, issued by the minister Luis Miguel de Campsand aims to strengthen the professional commitment of teachers, impact the quality of learning and promote development teaching professional at all levelssubsystems and modalities of the public educational system.
The evaluation process is developed through Vice Ministry of Accreditation and Teaching Certification and follows the schedule previously established for the Teaching Performance Evaluation (EDD).
