The Dominican Electric Transmission Company (ETED) reported that this Sunday, January 18, it will carry out two scheduled transfers of power transformersas part of the technical work aimed at strengthening the reliability of the national electrical system.
Actions scheduled for the transfer of transformers
The entity explained through a press release that both operations involve the movement of large equipment, so they will be carried out with the accompaniment of the corresponding authoritiesin order to guarantee the road safety and minimize the impact on traffic.
The first transfer consists of a transformer 30MVA 138/69kVwhich will be mobilized from the Herrera Operations Center until the Metropolitan Substationat an approximate time of 5:00 to 8:00 in the morning.
Subsequently, the transfer of a transformer will be carried out. 125MVA 138/69kVfrom the Metropolitan Substationlocated in the Ortega y Gasset Avenueuntil the Pizarrete Substationin the municipality of Baniwith an estimated schedule from 8:00 in the morning to 3:00 in the afternoon.
