The president of the United States, donald trumpbegan to realize his calling “Peace Council” for postwar Gazaand several world leaders said Saturday that they have been asked to join.
The White House He noted that, under Trump’s plan, there would be a Peace Council, chaired by Trump himself; a Palestinian committee of technocrats intended to provisionally administer the war-torn territory; and an “executive council” that would reportedly have an advisory role.
The White House released an initial list of appointees and said more names would be added.

PEACE COUNCIL – The White House stated that the Peace Council will address issues such as “strengthening governance capacities, regional relations, reconstruction, attracting investment, large-scale financing and capital mobilization.”
Donald Trump will be at the head of this Council.

NATIONAL COMMITTEE FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF GAZA – This body made up of technocrats “will oversee the restoration of essential public services, the reconstruction of civil institutions and the stabilization of daily life in Gaza,” according to the White House.
- Ali Shaath, former deputy minister of the Palestinian Authority, chairs the committee.
GAZA EXECUTIVE COUNCIL – This entity “will help support effective governance and the delivery of world-class services that promote peace, stability and prosperity for the people of Gaza,” according to the White House.
